The Sony MicroMV tape is designed for high density digital recording (MPEG2) for the MicroMV format. This tape stores up to 60 minutes of full motion video and incorporates a tiny 64Kb memory chip. This memory chip allows you to store custom titles and thumbnail images, along with specific information such as time and date before a recorded video scene. Thumbnailing also allows you to advance to a particular spot on a recording.
